Experience a beautiful tour of the pearls of the river Maas, such as the famous white town of Thorn, the historic town of Wessem and the vivd harbor of Maasbracht. During this cruise along the boundairies of the Maas and the southern Maasponds, you will discover the enormous amount of water and unspoiled nature. You may even catch a glimpse of a Royal Horse or a Galloway along the way... You will also be introduced to the Maasbrachter harbor, which is one of the largest inland ports in Europe.

There is sailing on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from April to October. Daily sailings take place in July and August.

As the largest inland port in the Netherlands and the second largest in Europe, Maasbracht truly is the center of inland shipping.
In the museum there are countless things that remind and educate you about the rich history of the skippers' fair, and the present and past of inland shipping. You will also learn more about living and working within the traditional shipping industry. In recent decades, inland shipping has also had to deal with all kinds of social and economic developments. In the museum you can explore in word and image how these developments have impacted the industry. Through various photo exhibitions you'll discover how the skipper and his family lived and worked, often under difficult circumstances.
Have you ever expierenced a tour through an authentic Dutch mill?
The experienced guides and millers are happy to show you around the historic mill of Maasbracht. The duration of this free tour varies from around 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. You will also be offered a free cup of coffee or tea with a cookie, and you can also enjoy other drinks at a friendly price on the terrace. The millers even offer various types of ground flour, grinded in their own traditional way!
Opening hours; every Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm, and from 1 April to 1 November also on Thursday afternoons from 1 pm to 4 pm.
